This project takes small forces from the hands of participants and scales them up, creating a stage where air, wind, fog, vibration can affect a crowd. The project features wearable devices with embedded sensors which are worn by users who then use their muscles and body gestures to make the space “playable”.
I did research, designed and produced the wearable, which was made combining flexible and regular 3D printed material. The wearable consists of a a wrist band with embedded sensors and powered by portable battery that send biometric signal data wirelessly in real time. The sensors are small electrodes that needs to be placed on certain places on the arm.
