Foldface is my final project to obtain a professional degree in architecture.

At 2007 was honored as one of the 2006-2007s top 16 final projects in the National Award for Architecture diploma in Chile.

The project is a self structuring construction system, capable of changing according to requirements of the architectural program and responding to interaction between the natural and social environment.

Based on the hypothesis that digital modeling can optimizing resource using an integration between shape and structure to manipulate a strength/weight ratio. And taking the example of containers walls, which increasing strength of a light sheet by folds, i started to research surfaces generation through a technique called origami tesellations.
